The noise levels in Amsterdam Zuidoost and Diemen-Zuid + Amstelveen from landing planes that use the buitenveldertbaan at Schiphol are unbearable! They increased the number of flights landing there dramatically in the last months. Living conditions are extreme, you can not work with an open window, children cant sleep or concentrate on school homework, you can not spent time outside your house because of the noise.

What surprises me most is the fatalism of most people, like the situation can not be changed. It can be changed. Many Airports around the world were moved or redesigned as the cities near by them grew. There are sooo many people living here, all the people in Bilmermeer, Weesp noord, Diemen Zuid, Amstelveen, Duivendrecht. Thats at the very least 100.000 thousand households and 200.000 people.

The Buitenveldertbaan should be completely and permanently closed for all landing and starting planes coming from the east or starting towards the east of it!
